Context: Singapore as a bustling city, people are always busy with work. For those who have young children, it is hard for them to work during the weekends.
Smart Alex Cafe is a family-friendly shared space where it will allow both the working adults and young children to benefit.
The cafe is split into 2 levels. The first level has different activities for children to enjoy at the play area on the right-hand side.
On the second level, there are the different style of shared workspaces for adults and students to do their work.

The installation is located in the middle of the cafe near the entrance on the first floor. It allows people of all ages mainly targeted to young children to interact with it by shouting into the microphone which allows the installation to produce light and water. This installation will have an effect that is similar to a light show. To allow the installation to work, an Arduino circuit is used.
